Preston Diamond started his insurance career selling life insurance while a beatnik at UC Berkeley. He later ran is own shop from 1963 until 1986 when he sold all but one niche book of business which he still operates with a partner.
Pres is an invited speaker and seminar leader for many state and national meetings, and has consulted with over 400 independent agencies throughout the country.
His articles appear regularly in national trade journals and he publishes a weekly marketing and sales wisdom letter, The 3-Minute Sales Clinic. Pres created the Personal Lines System for the ISU Franchise Agents, 6th Sense Proposal System for the Property and Casualty Agent, 6th Sense Proposal System for the Life and Benefits Agent, SalesWise, a 3-module sales success program leading to the CPIA designation and is currently Executive Director of the Institute of WorkComp Advisors, a training company teaching agents and brokers how to fight WorkComp overcharges.
Pres was honored with the first-ever Diamond award for innovation in marketing and sales by the CPIA Society and has been called the Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods of insurance.
